Here is a simple recipe for penne pasta with a white creamy sauce:
Ingredients:
- 454g penne pasta (gf)
- 30g butter (vegan)
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons flour (gf)
- ¼ cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream (vegan)
- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese (vegan)
- Desired spices (I used oregano, salt, parsley, black pepper)
- Green peas
Instruction:
Fry chopped onion &
minced garlic in butter
Mix in 2 tbsp flour
Add dry white wine to the pot
once veggies are cooked
Add heavy creamer after the
sauce starts to thicken
Add desired spices into the mixture
Add 1 cup of vegetable broth
Mix in the shredded parmesan cheese
Add cooked green peas to the penne pasta and mix well with the creamy sauce
