Your life, Your rules.

Be the calmest person in the room. Know more than they think. Think more than you say, and notice everything. People fear the quiet one.

Praying and meditation

We usually pray when we want to get our desires so we turn to God in hope that “he’ll” deliver our wishes or at least help us get closer to our goals. Praying can also help us find our way to our path if we feel lost. Praying can relieve any emotional burden especially when we don’t talk about our problems to others. Prayer can also provide us comfort cause we feel like someone is listening and we have some higher power to turn to. While praying can definitely serve an individual, we also have to learn not to create dependency where we just expect the higher power to take care of our problems for us. Knowing and accepting that you are powerful enough to overcome your own issues without having to rely on an outside source can be extremely liberating allowing you to own yourself and step into your powers. This can seem dreadful to some people because they have to learn to live without co-dependency. Spiritual practices serve us as a guidance but if all we do is pray without taking any steps in real life it can have you wait forever with no results and this is the path to procrastination. If you truly want to move ahead don’t wait for anything and anyone to heal or change you. Nobody has that power over you whether you want to believe this or not. You’ve got to accept that God has created each and every one of us to his own image which means that he gave us the capability to create our own world just as he created his. The best thing to do is to set a specific and strong intention before turning to any higher power for guidance. You must provide with a template so your guides or God can work within your intention. If you don’t know what you want or what would best serve you ask your higher self first to show you the what. Then you can turn to any higher power for the how. When it comes to a solution keep in mind that sometimes the solution isn’t what you want but rather what serves.
Meditation is another spiritual practice that brings us into our bodies and into the present moment. Quieting the mind and being aware of your breathing and surrounding is what can help to really tune in. You can utilize meditation when you want to ‘just be’. Meditation is beneficial when you want let go of your day’s burden because it requires you to quiet your mind and serves as an outlet to let go of whatever is bothering you. To begin this practice sit comfortably with your eyes closed and tune into your breath, how your body feels and any sensations you feel. You can choose to sit in quietness or you can choose to play soft, calming music in the background and just let things be, allow yourself to simply experience nothing. It can be challenging to do such a seemingly simple thing when we are so conditioned and used to rushing all the time. If your mind wonders don’t judge it, you must learn to notice what’s present and let them flow out of your mind. The more you practice the more you can empty your mind from unnecessary chatter. This is an amazing way to start getting into meditation if you’re new to it. However, once you’ve learned to master your mind by being able to disconnect from the world and turn within now the practice has a different focus. With meditation you can get into altered states that otherwise you’re not able to reach. This is why practising quieting the mind first is important. When you truly disconnect from the world you have the ability to tap into higher wisdom which comes from other dimensions. This is also where our Higher Self resides. When you practice this enough you learn to bring all that experience and wisdom with you and you’ll be able to apply it to your everyday life. What this looks like in real 3D form is when you’re actively seeking for an answer or solution you’ll no longer have to wonder/ponder and feel lost because of uncertainty but rather you’ll just have an unexplainable knowing of what would best serve you because of all the wisdom downloads you receive in your meditations are now within you and when something is within you all you have to do is actively reach out and intend for the right path to be shown.
In a nutshell both praying and meditation are very helpful in a lot of ways. Praying is about turning to a higher power while meditation is about turning within and finding that inner peace & higher wisdom.
