Great pattern, good fit
The pattern of this shirt is really striking. Most of my camp shirts are cotton, and this is a polyester blend (which explains the lower price). As such, I was surprised at the care label which advise to air dry vs. a tumble dry. I didn’t realize this until AFTER the first watch, and the shirt didn’t seem to be harmed by the dryer nor did it shrink. Nevertheless, it’s probably best for the longevity of the shirt to follow the care instructions outlined on the label.

OK Shirt, But Not My Best or Even Close To It !
After doing hundreds of scuba dives throughout the Caribbean and Mexico years ago I accumulated probably the same amount of tropical shirts at the time. I loved them. Colorful, comfortable, airy, simple, easy to clean and take care of… that is, if well-made and of good materials. The best were cottons, linen, hemp, natural fibers and the thicker the better for durability and wicking action to keep you cool or shaded. On the contrary, this shirt is all syntactic Polyester with many washing do’s and don’ts and special care instructions. Now it’s winter here but I don’t have to wear it in the tropics to know that it is not a good keep you cool shirt like natural fibers shirts are with wicking action and that don’t stick to you like syntactic shirts do also. So know what you are getting into before you buy and why instead of just looking at the shirts pattern if that’s what you like at first seeing it. Your opinion may change latter in the humid heat and sun. For the shirt itself in sizing, I was pleased with that fitting large for the size as ordered as they should not be tight wearing shirts. As to the pattern (B-Green Leaf), wearing in person was not as nice looking as the picture was. At least to me. Way to contrasty like a sports referee on vacation who could not leave half his job shirt behind and also could not quite get fully into his vacation mood either. But to each their own. Who knows. Maybe that pattern will start a new referee shirt style craze for sports nuts. Nuttier things have happened. Still have my pet rock around somewhere. Maybe it’s hiding under one of my old tropical shirts.

If you have a muscular physique (or plan to gift this shirt to someone with a muscular physique), you’ll notice that the neckline of this shirt causes the trapezius (traps) to pop. (“Pop” is bodybuilder speak for noticeable.)Moreover, the patterns–a combination of palm trees and stripes–seem a bit odd. But it works. Fits True To Size, Not To Color
Previously, I’ve ordered a couple different shirts from Coofandy; beach shirts, linen shirts or beach/lounge wear. And I’ve generally been pleased with their products. They always fit true to size, offer some cool designs and quality material. And this COOFANDY Men’s Hawaiian Beach Shirt is no exception.(Around this time, can you hear the “but” coming???)Picture #3 is the shirt I received. Picture #4 is from the Amazon product page for these shirts and is a picture of the one I actually ordered. This is a classic case of “one of these things is not like the other!”The green palm leaf design I ordered somewhere along the line became light tan/khaki. (BTW, tan/khaki palm leaf design wasn’t even listed as an optional color choice on Amazon.)Because the shirt fits fine and looks good, I’m only docking them one star – from 5 to 4. I also wish they incorporated a breast pocket on the shirt.Just be aware that it does ‘fit true to size,’ …just may not be true to color.

The Pattern is the main draw here
Image on shirt matches very well to the official images here! The fabric is stretchy, thin, and definitely synthetic. The pattern cuts apart at the back, where it is very easy to tell that it’s just printed on, not really woven in on two different pieces of fabric. It’s a bit too light-weight to wear without an undershirt, and a bit too short to try and tuck in with pants. The size fit as expected, which is a bonus, because I often find that shirts run small.So, the main draw here is the unusual pattern. More for fashion than function, or for warmer climes than mine.

Interesting looking shirt
I knew this was going to be an interesting looking shirt when I ordered it, but now that I have it, I’m struggling to figure out where to wear it. Either pattern on the shirt would have been stylish on its own. When combined together, it makes for an attention grabbing mix. “A Foot Locker employee in Hawaii” is how my friend described it. LOL.

I like these shirts that are asymmetrical in the pattern, and this is not the first shirt like this that I have ordered. It’s interesting and the shirt gives a different kind of vibe when seen from different angles or worn differently.Unfortunately, what I didn’t realize until right after I opened the package at my house is that the black and white stripes make you look exactly like a football referee. Can’t unsee it. Every time I seem myself in the mirror I smile and wish I had a plain black cap and yellow handkerchief to throw around. Which is pretty funny, but not quite the sleek and sexy shirt I expected.If you are not from America or aren’t an NFL fan this might not resonate with you, so your mileage may vary.

This shirt is exactly what I needed and hoped it would be. The size “they” suggested was small based on whatever but thankfully I know my sad situation! I purchased XL and if I’d gotten even a large it would haven’t fit comfortably. But it’s very nice and perfect for the outfit I was putting together. AMAZING! Can’t believe I got this off of amazon!
I had very low expectations going in, considering the price point and it being amazon. But the black Hawaiian striped was amazing. Soft high-quality material that beats a lot of the name brand shirts I own that are 2 or 3x more expensive. Medium fit a little long for 5’11 135lbs but no complaints really.

Cheap but did the job!
Ordered this for my Hubby’s costume to a 50s themed party. Material is as described, flat overall so no texture on it. Sizing is a bit off but for the price that’s what you get. I would order your regular size!

Decent shirt, decent price
This is a pretty nice-looking shirt. The material and construction don’t feel great, but you usually get what you pay for. I’d say the sizing runs slightly large. My only gripe with the appearance is that in person, the collar seems a lot wider and I don’t think it looks quite as good as it would otherwise.

Smart looking shirt. Light, white and summer ready. This is a casual, open collar style shirt with no shirt tails, meaning it’s designed to be worn untucked. This is not a button down shirt even though it’s listed as such. A button down has a button on the collar. This shirt does not.The shirt came with a few wrinkles so I took the liberty of not washing it but running it through the washer with fabric softer and then the dryer. It came out perfect. The fabric is soft but still holds its shape.The vertical stripes are said to be slimming in appearance if you’re a few pounds overweight and it wears very well. This shirt with the collar is very contemporary and looks well detailed in the stitching. The lines of this shirt are very sleek and clean with no front pocket to break the flow.This is suitable to wear with shorts, a swimsuit, jeans or dress slacks. It fits in and stands out as very classy.

Impressive Shirt!
Okay, the picture I included is not the best? But lucky I had time to take one at all, as my son snatched the moment seen and he is not easily impressed by clothing I find for him. However, this shirt is quietly impressive, and stylish far beyond what my picture presents. Lightweight and perfect for the summer days ahead, cut perfectly, and is to size (this is small) tucked in or not? The colors are a beautiful combo of brown, tan & beige/red, buttons blend well and are firmly sewn I must add! The collar has a sharp cut which nicely accents the shape of the blend down through the front phase. I really am impressed with this shirt. Some Hawaiian shirts are tacky and cheaply made. This shirt remains lightweight and breathable while having some heft to it. The material is very soft on the skin and the design really pops. The shirt fits true to size and looks great with shorts or dressier slacks. Will get much wear from me. Recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised by the feel of this shirt. It has a little bit of stretch to it and weaved in a way to make it a breathable polyester fabric. It doesn’t feel like 100% polyester, it seems like it has some cotton.Fit as expected according to their chart. Good shirt!

Dull Chalk “Green”: Nothing Like The Listing Photo.
Very disappointed as this was described & photos showed it as a green, in the lighter mint range.I’m not sure what the color is I got — it looks like cardboard or caulk green, not anything that stands out or is true to a Hawaiian Palm.There is nothing in the listing offers that show the color I actually got.This is really dull.Full fail.

Loose comfortable shirt. Designed to not be tucked in.
I got the shirt in a XXL so it would be loose and fit around my middle-aged mid-section. It is a light shirt and breathes really well. It fits around the waist and shoulders and is cut in a way to not look baggy but more relaxed. It is meant to blow a little in the wind to keep you cool and let the air pass through it. Have only worn it a few times so far but it has been standing up to the washing machine. The material feels a little softer after a couple washes. It is 100% synthetic fibers so my only concern is longevity. No issues so far after washing twice. For a seasonal hawaiian shirt that does not have the tacky look and is more fashionable, it seems like a decent shirt that will last several years.

I like this one, very light and breathable. I realize it’s winter for most of the country but I wear Hawaiian Shirts almost all year round. Wife tells me she really likes the color and pattern and to be honest so do I. There are too few blue shirts in my closet and she tells me it’s a good color for me. I don’t know how durable it will turn out to be but it feels pretty well made and is comfortable.

This shirt is perfect for a casual evening out or a cruise. It is dressed up yet slightly casual. No tie needed ( a huge plus around here). A great vacation shirt!
I rocked this shirt on our trip to Belize. It looked AWESOME! Very vacation-centric. I ordered my usual size and it fit as desired/expected. It’s a nice feeling fabric. I paired it with a set of off-white linen pants and it really looked good, if I do say so myself, lol. Topped that off with a Tommy Bahama belt, and a white watch band (I’ve been experimenting with different quick-change watch bands) and the look was complete! This is my second article of Coofandy clothing and I’ve had a good experience with both pieces. I highly recommend this shirt.
