Baby’s Favorite! We call it “the Egg”
My baby loves the Munchkin Swaying Seat. I originally purchased it for a weekend away because it would travel easily & break down into two parts. It worked perfectly and was easy to pack & carry into the hotel. After the weekend away I had planned on it staying in my bedroom as a seat that I could place the baby in when I was in the room working on something. But it has actually turned into our main baby swing. I have 3 other types and this ended up being the favorite over the swing, the bouncer, and the rocker. I only wish that they could use it longer than 20 lbs. or when they roll over.Well worth the extra cost, easy to clean, breaks down into two parts, 5 sway settings, good selection of noises and comes with a remote. The only thing I don’t like is that the Bluetooth volume isn’t able to get any louder, because any music or sound comes out too quiet to be worth while, in my opinion.

It has a few flaws…
There are a few things that we have our frustrations with.1. The buttons are touch screen and they are a bit finicky. Not a big fan, it’s much easier to use the remote but that’s not really practical.2. The fastest speed (5) isn’t that fast. 3-5 feel almost identical.3. The waist strap is REALLY annoying to resize.4. Our baby is really small and she just slumps into the bottom. There isn’t much cushion on the back rest so she’s not a huge fan.Pros though, our baby passes out in this very easily! Which can also be a risk on its own, however it’s great we have something that can relax her.It has a sound machine built into it! This is amazing and something I think a lot of baby items should consider incorporating.The cord is decently long so you aren’t tied directly to a wall.

Pretty good
I was hesitant to purchase this because some of the bad reviews were pretty bad. However I am happy with it and I have not had the same issues from some of the other reviewers.The only thing I will say is the swing is very slow and you have to have it up to 5 before it actually moves. Although it may be because I have a large baby but it still feels like it should actually move at mode 1-4.

Initial Review: Initially, I loved this swing. It is light-weight, easy to assemble, and easy to use. However, I’ve now had it almost exactly two months, and have used it lightly for about 1.5 months, and it has stopped working. After taking it apart, moving it to a different room, then reassembling it, it no longer works. I push power, then the button to start the swing, and it turns back off. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a difference in the swing speed. My baby loves it, but I’m not sure it’s worth it if it doesn’t last.Added: Soon after our first swing stopped working, I contacted the manufacturer to take advantage of their warranty. The customer service was fantastic, and they quickly and easily shipped me a new swing free of charge, and I had it within days. The second swing has worked well with no issues, and while I still don’t see a difference in the swing speed, my baby loves it, and we use it all the time. We kept the first, broken swing, to use as a seat when we needed to put her down for just a few minutes in a safe spot, knowing that seat didn’t have any power to it. She’s about to reach the weight limit at 7 months old, so I’m sad we won’t be able to use it anymore, but I’m a fan of this thing, and the customer service.

Won’t use for very long
It is a nice little swing, the Bluetooth is cool, the remote is nice, and the white noise is great. My only issue is that the size of the swing is really only for a specific phase of growth for the baby. I couldn’t use it with him as a newborn, because the seat was too big, he only really used it from maybe 2-4 months. after that, it was too small for him, and his legs hung off the end making him pretty uncomfortable. Maybe it’s just my kid, but that’s my issue lol. In that time, I had to get a replacement because the motor went out. Amazon was great with the reshipment, even though this was a gift because it was on my registry and ordered to be shipped to me, I was able to get the free replacement with no issue and the purchaser never knew. Unfortunately once I got the replacement, he was already too big to use it anymore. I am going to likely gift it to the next friend who has a baby, but I wouldn’t really recommend spending the full price on this, wait for Prime day or something.

Update: Amazon replaced our swing when it quit working and it has worked properly ever since! I do have some further thoughts about this swing, 6 months after initially buying:Pros: looks beautiful, not heavy, has a remote, easy to store, Bluetooth connection is cool, has been reliable since we got a replacement one 5 months agoCons: as our child has grown, it would be nice to have some kind of toy attachment from munchkin. We prefer to put her in a bouncy seat now since she can easy play with toys in it.-quite expensive for what it is. Yeah, it’s been a lovely swing, but she isn’t going to use it much longer, and we have preferred our baby bjorn bouncer for the most part.-the baby likes being in the swing fine, but doesn’t last as long in the swing as in the bouncer. I don’t know if that’s specific to here or if it would be different for another child.-it has a spot where a battery initially was planned to go, but it looked like they changed their minds mid-manufacturing and left the place for the batteries, but it’s not functional. Not only is this kind of weird, but it’s unfortunate that it can’t be controlled by battery.Original review:We love this swing, but it stopped working after 3 weeks of use. The unit would turn on and play sounds, but would no longer swing. BUT Amazon’s great customer service is sending us a replacement unit. Hoping the next one will not have this issue. I will update my review, but wanted to share in case someone else had the same issue.

We were able to try this out sooner rather than later. The baby seemed to enjoy this swing. It soothed him immediately. I think he thought he was being held, which was great. Th vibration appeared to put him to sleep.This is money money well spent.sleep.

Easy to use swing that our baby loves
We are first time parents and we were looking for a reliable swing that might assist with soothing / sleep assist for our newborn. We did some research on the Mama Roo, Baby Bjorn, and a couple others and saw that the Munchkin Swing had a competitive price with similar features as the others. After purchasing we tried our 5 week old in the swing and she absolutely loves it. We’ve been mostly using for our morning nap routine or when the baby finishes tummy time and not tired enough for nap. The swing has 5 levels, comes with built in white noise along with other soothing music/sounds, and you can easily pair with blue tooth to play your own music! I didn’t think I’d need this feature, but after trying it out, realized it would be fun for baby to listen to tunes that we enjoy as well.Set up and take down is super easy, pretty much sets up in one click, and the swing can be stored flat so can be put away and out of sight when not in use, which is necessary in our small apartment. Highly recommend this product – it’s an item we are getting almost daily use out of!

Nice swing but built in speaker sucks
The swing itself is nice looking and my baby enjoys the natural sway. However, the speaker for the white noise and music is really terrible quality and distorts if volume level is over level 2 – has done this immediately since purchase.

The first few sound settings (ocean waves, rain, white noise) all sound like static. The rest of the sound settings are fine. It’s light weight and super easy to put together/take apart. If you are looking for a swing that’s easy to move from one place to another, this is perfect. The remote is also nice to have. I just wish it had a mobile then it would be perfect.

Good for only a month or two
After only 4 month of having it – 2 months of use due to our twin’s being under weight – our swing just quit working. I was warned about this from a friend of mine but figured it was just a flaw with theirs. We truly loved this swing but not if it’s going to just quit working. It is turning on but the sway mode doesn’t work anymore. Neither does the Bluetooth.

My baby loves this swing! When I need to put her down and she’s fussy, this is a huge help. Its also pretty cool how you can play your own music via Bluetooth in the speaker. We usually stick to the classical mode but its cool to have the option.

Swing is great but sound machine didn’t work.
My LO absolutely loves his swing time, the sounds are great and very relaxing for him. However, I noticed with him in it the swinging isn’t as pronounced as when it is swinging without him in it. (He’s only 8lbs) so I’m thinking the swing part of it will get less and less as he gets bigger??

I gave this as a gift to my sis expecting and IT WORTH EVERY PENNY. The swing gets connected to a power source. It includes a remote to control the speed and movements, it also has this feature of playing sounds like womb, heartbeats, wind, rain and so much more. The coolest feature of all personally was the Bluetooth, instead of working as another remote it allows you to play music from your device, either your own music, or just another sounds that you like but are not available here. It is really lightweight and easy to assemble and store. Definitely if you are expecting or know someone who is expecting, this is a great long lasting gift.

Not impressed
As this looks nice and isn’t bulky and in the way, it doesn’t work almost at all… settings 1-5 are all the same and barley move, I have to give it a good push to keep it going if it even continues it rock at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

This swing is really well designed and well made. It’s got a mesh back to the seat portion so it can stay cool while the insert is reversible: fleecy on one side for warmth and cooler fabric on the other when it’s hot. The whole thing is removable for washing, too.The control interface is sleek but intuitive. It’s all touch screen but blends nicely with the base. Not what I expected to find on a baby swing. The bluetooth speaker is also a nice touch. It’s great for soothing baby with calming music or white noise.The actual motion of the swing is really gentle. Even at the highest setting, it doesn’t fly around faster like other swings, it’s just a slightly wider arc.This is the new standard for baby swings!

We love this swing!
This swing is wonderful. It’s easy to assemble and so light weight you can take it anywhere in the house easily. Some of the reviews said that you can turn up how much it swings 1-4 and all setting are the same which is kinda true it does stay the same speed for the most part but I think the speed is fine. I don’t have a problem with it at all and neither does our babe. We have had this swing for about a month now with our newborn and she seems to like it as well. I highly recommend this swing!

Worth it! Better than graco by far!!!
My baby loves this way more than the graco swing. The graco swing stopped working after a month. This swing is nice because it’s light weight portable and has Bluetooth and has nice soothing noises for the baby to fall asleep too. I wish it had a vibrating mode. The look is nice and sleek this swing doesn’t take up much room which is nice!Update: All I have to say I can’t wait to use it for the next baby I have. But I have to say it has a constant noise it starts making whenever swings…

Really love how stylish and modern the design is, doesn’t look tacky placed in the middle of my living room. The cushions are really thick and soft and I like how it is completely removable to be machine washed. Super lightweight but feels very sturdy even with baby’s weight added. As first-time parents, we hadn’t realized how important having a good swing is! We love the baby Munchkin swing, but more importantly, our 3-month-old son loves it too! The swing is light and really easy to assemble, it took less than a minute to put it together. It has a sleek and modern design that fits nicely in the living room. The swaying motion is smooth and mimics how we swing our baby, with a nice gentle rhythm. What we love the most is the sitting angle and cushion which gives ideal support- our baby can sit comfortably without sinking into an awkward position and is able to move his head from side to side. It also has a mesh back which keeps him from getting sweaty and overheated.The swing comes with a variety of relaxing sounds and music and a big plus is you can connect your phone with Bluetooth and control volume and speed with remote control. The sound quality is really good.We’ve tried other brands (Mamaroo, Fisher-Price) and this is by far the best! Highly recommend!

Compact, Great Design, Functions Smartly – MUST HAVE!
Having used a baby swing with my first child, I opened the box expecting to need time to assemble this swing. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to see just how simple it is to put together. It honestly takes less than a minute to put together. And it is so compact, which makes storage so easy. I also absolutely love the simple, neutral colors of the fabric and the design is very sleek overall. And I can play my own music through the bluetooth speaker, which gives me a lot more sound and music options, plus the ability to control it without having to get up and down constantly. It is so nice to not have another colorful baby accessory in my home! I can’t wait to use this with my newborn when she gets here. Having used a much larger baby swing with my first child, I am beyond thrilled to have found a swing that takes up less space, looks great, and functions smartly. I am certainly a happy mama!

Update:I called the number on the product booklet and the faulty swing was replaced promptly. So far I am happy with the swing. My daughter likes it. I did take off the head rest because she looks uncomfortable. Besides that, I am satisfied with the swing this far.Previous post:I am really disappointed in their product. In less than a month of use it stopped swinging! The swing switches off in when I press the swing button. Like what in the world!!!!!!

Our baby loves it!!!
We LOVE this swing and couldn’t be happier with our purchase. Our little one wouldn’t let us put him down until we tried this swing. He loves the swinging motion and will always calm down (and even sleep) when we put him in it. The swing was super easy to put together, and it’s great that it easily breaks down into two pieces so we can store it in a closet if we have guests coming over. One of our favorite features is the ability to pair the speakers to our phones to play our baby’s favorite songs. We would strongly recommend this swing for anyone who is looking for a swing that baby will love being in but you will also love having in your home – it looks modern, isn’t as bulky as many others, and is quick/easy to store when you want.

Absolutely love this baby swing!! It has a soft natural swinging motion that really soothes and calms our baby and he absolutely loves it! And it plays different calming sounds, even heartbeat sounds and classical music! I’m really impressed with the sound quality too. I can adjust the settings with the remote which is super convenient when I’m doing dishes or something else. It’s comfortable and safe for our little one and has head support. I love how light weight it is so I can easily move it from room to room which I need or even to my parent’s house. I tried the MamaRoo and it was way too heavy and bulky and had bumpy motions. This is also easy to clean and machine washable and was super easy to set up (came with only 2 pieces!). Highly highly recommend! This made our lives as first time parents so much easier and our baby loves it! Must have!

Great product!
We have a glider swing in the living room but its too big and bulky to be able to move throughout the house. We decided on getting something that moves but is lightweight! We have only used this a few times since we opened it, and my daughter loves it! It was very easy to assemble! The only thing I would say I don’t love is that you have to plug it in to use! If there was an upgrade I would recommend adding usb charger to it or a battery pack to make it more portable! Other than that I love it and definitely would recommend to other!

Love and Hate
My little one loves this swing. There are a few things I don’t love. The touch power button is terrible. It takes three or four touches for it to respond. Also, the swing has five speed levels but level 1 is the same speed as level 5.

A MUST have for baby! We’ve had many swings (name brand) and this is by far the best. Doesn’t take up much room like other bulky baby swings. Easy to assemble and move around from room to room. Looks very modern and expensive-but most importantly works great and our 1 week old loves it. Also plays white noise & classical music which we love- haven’t tried the Bluetooth out yet but it’s a fun feature.

Slows down with heavier babies
I bought 2 swings because of the ease of set up and breakdown. Once we tried using the swings they seemed fine, but I slowly noticed how slow the swings moved when the babies were placed in them. Now my babies weighed 5.5lbs each so I figured the more weight they gained, the more the swings would not work for what we needed. I did love the Bluetooth capabilities and the remote feature, but I ultimately returned because the babies did not do well with the limited motion.

This swing is AMAZING! My 5 week old does not like to sleep at night time even if I’m holding her. I put her in this swing and it was like magic. It makes NO SOUNDS while it’s swinging and has awesome built in sounds and music. Really simple to connect the Bluetooth and play whatever you want. It is so lightweight too. Definitely worth the money!

Stopped Working, Beware 90 Day Amazon Return Limit
Our son loved this swing, for the few weeks of use it worked great. Got less than a month’s use out of it before the motor burned out. So yeah I would say it’s quite soothing for baby, he did enjoy it but it was a nightmare for us because we were left without his favorite swing so quickly. Also I was foolish enough to buy this a few months before the baby was born and Amazon would not help us make this right because the 90 days of support they provide were up. Now we are at Munchkin’s mercy. We will see how the return process goes and I will update accordingly.

Being a first time mother I bought this swing because it had great reviews, lightweight, portable and had a remote. BUT it only sways and you don’t know what your baby will like as every baby is different. My baby turned out to hate being swayed but loves to swing.. yes there’s a huge difference I guess lolSo please purchase a cheap alternative to find out what your baby likes before you spend $200 on a swayer. I’m just glad I was still in the return window.

It is good! Not for families with a baby and a toddler!
Works great. So far baby is not that into it but he might eventually get there. My only complaint is i honestly didn’t realize how incredibly low to the ground this is. If you have a baby and a smaller child around I’d honestly either use it in a room where the smaller child can not mess with it while the baby is in it or purchase a different type.

I ordered this swing and at first it worked great then it stoped working Amazon was very helpful and replaced it new one came in 2 days great then my new one wouldn’t connect to bottom peice so I had to return now I’m on my third swing because when it works it’s great so far this one has worked very well a good buy a little spendy but worth it and rest assured if something happens you can replace it

This swing is cool and nice looking and the smaller size is also nice but overall there isn’t a real difference in the settings and I feel like a regular swing would have been a better purchase don’t feel like you get your money’s worth with this.

Lightweight and easy to put together.
Haven’t used this on the baby it is intended for yet because baby hasn’t been born yet but my 1 year old is obsessed with this swing. It is super lightweight, super easy to put together. The remote works great. Sounds actually sound like they are supposed too. I like how the colors are so neutral. I think the side to side motion is great, I feel like that’s more like mom. I have a mamaroo and a rockaroo and I think that this particular swing will get the most use. Excited to finally be able to use it on my newborn.

I love it, even though it is broken!
I love this swing! Perfect size, perfect capabilities, and best of all it is electric! (No batteries!) I bought this in anticipation of having a baby several months ago. I didn’t realize until today the safety switch is stuck. The safety mechanism works manually but not the safety switch. I just taped the safety mechanism down so I can still use it. I love it!!
