WHY DO I PAINT LEE HARVEY OSWALD?
Today we know the truth about Lee Harvey Oswald that we did not know in 1963.: Oswald was innocent and did not kill JFK.
To know Oswald’s life and not be impressed by his courage or loyalty to our Constitution is impossible. Oswald was an American patriot who joined our armed services at the age of 17 ;
later continued to serve as an undercover agent in Japan, the Soviet Union, and the United States.
How did Oswald manage to speak fluent Russian so well that Marina -his future wife-thought he was Russian?
Why did Oswald say he was a Patsy?
What went through Oswald’s mind in the last hours of his life?
“Oswald’s last hours “attempts to highlight those questions and more.
Oswald honored his pledge of secrecy even after his wrongful arrest.
After Oswald’s murder, his mother said Oswald should be buried at the
Arlington National
cemetery for he died for our country. True and wonderful words.
My paintings attempt to say “Thank you Oswald.”
